Job Description

Bid Manager - IT ServicesUp to £60,000 + BenefitsLondon (Hybrid) Do you have Bid Management experience within the IT sectorDo you thrive working in ultra-competitive environmentsThe Company:An exciting opportunity has arisen within a global leading IT organisation, who for over the past three decades, have been a trusted supplier of IT Hardware, Software and Integrated IT Solutions to global technology providers such as Microsoft, Apple, Intel,VM Ware, Cisco and Dell.Due to ongoing growth, our client is looking to recruit dynamic individual who has previous experience of Bid Management within an IT business, ideally within a Reseller or MSP and who has a solid understanding of the services sector and bid management processes.The Role: As a Bid Manager, you will oversee the creation of presales documentation and presentations for prospects and trading customers, both in proactive and responsive scenarios. You will produce the tendering plan and establish the virtual bidding team, whichtypically includes representation from sales, business development, solutions and project management departments. You will work closely with account managers to produce cost models and track completion of written assignments, whilst also organising appropriatedocument approvals and bid submission.Essential Requirements of the Bid Manager role:

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Experience of Bid Management within the IT sector
  • Strong people management skills
  • Excellent commercial acumen
  • APMP qualified (or equivalent)
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and Subject Matter Experts
  • Demonstrate ability to lead, motivate and organise teams
  • High attention to detail
  • Creative and innovative thinker
