Job Description

Bid Manager - Customer Engagement & Contact Centre SaaSRemuneration: Base salary to £55,000 plus 10% BonusExcellent benefits package inc. 27 days holidays, Medical, Pension, LifeHome office location - with 2 days a week in London officeOur client:Is a leading international developer of omni-channel, SaaS / cloud delivered customer service, contact centre and customer engagement platforms with the flexibility and scalability to support smaller enterprises and global corporations.They have 6 International offices across EMEA and South East Asia and a well-established UK presence over the last decade. A regular contender for various Forrester/ GartnerMagicQuadrant style awards in the Contact Centre software solutions sector.The role:You are the person who leads our clients bid activities, including document production and team liaison. You will also be seeking out new tender opportunities and decide our win’ probabilities based on our technology offerings and internal capabilities. On a day-to-day basis, you will work with the business to ensure all key activity is delivered effectively and that all key requirements are met for the most strategically important opportunities across the sector. Some specifics we are looking for are the ability to use effective capture strategies and plans to assemble a bid process, tangible and demonstrable experience of building a bid process from the ground up, guiding the business with the relevant service, product and business knowledge required to prepare a winning bid, whilst taking ownership and responsibility of the end-to-end bid process and adapting these as we grow. Youll need a deep understanding of our industry and trends and be able to communicate that in your communications and responses to clients requirements.Skill sets:

  • Ideally have experience of building a full bid function within a technology vendor
  • Demonstrate previous experience of managing bids (5 years+)
  • Experience using the Shipley methodology or equivalent is preferred
  • Demonstrate high shortlist to win conversion ratio’s
  • In-depth understanding of the competitor technology market sector in Contact Centre solutions, Omni-channel Customer Engagement, Customer Experience - SaaS, CCaaS, CXaaS
  • Extensive knowledge of public sector government frameworks and process
  • Experience working with third party technology providers
  • Effective written and verbal abilities
  • High detail orientation
  • Experience of relationship based selling methodologies

  • Win / lose analysis, why we won/ lost, what we learnt, how do we use this data to evolve
  • Empathetic approach to customer engagement
  • Flexibility and adaptability to assess and respond to the clients and situation requirements

  • Very good written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work to deadlines a must with a positive attitude and commitment to getting out deliverables to required timescales
