By connecting innovation to outcomes we can continue to enable better outcomes across the planning, delivery, and operation of our clients asset base.*Whatyou will contribute to the team:*The day-to-day activities in the role will range from gathering data through ETL processes to building BI reports using Microsoft applications. We are looking for candidates who are keen to expand their early career experiencein the application of data analytics, modelling and business intelligence to the world of infrastructure.A key input would be receiving data visualisation requirements from relevant stakeholders and building a project plan around the deliverables. You willhelp shape project outputs from concept design through to executing the project data strategy.The scope of work ranges from small to large, even enterprise scale BI developments, both in a national and international context. Specific duties include:* Partnerswith stakeholders, specialists, and users to elicit and document business requirements for new metrics and reports* Planning and executing extraction processes to move data from source to destination* Designing and building data models* Designs, develops,and maintains reports and analytical tools* Implementing role-based access to data (row level security)* Performs ongoing monitoring and refinement of reports* Provides technical support for existing reports, dashboards, or other tools* Identifies and analyzeserrors and inconsistencies in the data and provides timely resolutions* Creates ad-hoc reports and views on a frequent basis to assist management in understanding, researching and analysing issues across our platform business***Required for the position ofBusiness Intelligence Developer:*We are seeking a dynamic and talented person with approximately 1-2 years experience with working knowledge in Business Intelligence projects using Microsoft Applications. The candidate will be able to show experience indata querying using SQL on different platforms, such as using SQL within Power BI, in SSIS or SSMS.The candidate must be a good communicator with some user/customer engagement experience and must be confident about their skills. They must also think creativelyand should always be seeking new and more efficient ways to improve systems. They must be able to manage their own time, set their own targets and communicate effectively with their team.*Skills and qualities:** The candidate should have skills in SQL andMS SQL server, including querying with a conceptual understanding of the SQL language and logic* Experience in the design, delivery, and deployment of BI projects* Data mining and extraction: extract, transform and load skills, with the ability to summariseand prepare data to feed BI models* ETL and data integration: including the use of SQL Server Integration Services or ETL using Power BI or Excel PowerQuery* Data modelling: SSAS, Excel/PowerQuery or Power BI experience with proficiency in Data Analysis Expressions(DAX)* Experience in creating data services such as SQL databases/warehouses either as PAAS or IAAS services and working with Active Directory* Advanced analytical skills and attention to detail* Proven ability to quickly learn new applications, processes,and procedures* Able and willing to collaborate in a team environment and exercise independent judgment* Excellent verbal and written communication skills* Intellectually curious thinker with focus on outcomes-* Pension* Holidays* Agile working* Bonus scheme*Flexible benefits package* 2 stage teams interviews* OfferPower BI, SQL, ETLPower BI, SQL, ETL, Excel
