Risk at Deutsche Bank is relied upon to help shape the strategy of the organisation and the wider industry agenda.As a Benchmark Risk Controller, you will provide quantitative and qualitative reviews of the benchmark and index determination methods of the Front Office. You will review and document benchmark determination input, calculation methods, and various reviewthresholds, supporting the review with empirical evidence.Key responsibilities:

  • Working closely with the Benchmark and Index Control Group (BICG) and Front Office to understand the business and regulatory requirements
  • Supporting the day-to-day operations and work on change the bank items such as audit findings remediation
  • Identifying methodology limitations and quantify impact of model constraints
  • Keeping abreast of changes in external and internal standards and for ensuring the impact is reflected in the methodology
  • Collaborating with colleagues in developing the benchmark and index analytics toolset and providing management reports
  • Supporting various global initiatives, audit inquiries, and Management Information Systems (MIS)
Skills and experience:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent collaboration and problem-solving skills
  • Understating of the Benchmark landscape and products
  • Regulatory Project Management experience
  • Big4 consultancy background would be ideal
  • Analytical skills (Excel as well as visual basic coding)
