Job Description

Behaviour Mentor

  • Alternative Education (Primary & Secondary)
  • Greenwich & Surrounding areas
  • Full-time - ASAP Start
  • Salary - £90 - £100 per day
Timeplan Education is seeking dedicated Behaviour Mentors to work in an alternative provision in Greenwich. Our school is looking for Behaviour Mentors that have experience in coaching, mentoring, and lending assistance in a classroom setting. Ideal candidatesmust feel comfortable dealing with challenging behaviour and mental health difficulties and be able to show a calm and engaging approach. Many students also have additional SEND, such as ASD and ADHD.Experience of working with children or adults in an education setting isnt essential, but a willingness to learn new coaching skills to improve behaviour and development is critical. All positions will be permanent on contract with the school.The school would like to hear in particular from applicants with a background in care, social work, mental health, or mentoring.Job Responsibilities
  • Supporting children or young adults with SEMH and SEND
  • Able to stay calm and de-escalate challenging Behaviour
  • Valid Enhanced DBS registered with the online update service or be willing to apply for a new one
  • Available 5-days a week
