Job Description

Barista Sector: HealthcareJob Type: TemporaryDuration: 2 to 3 months and likely to be longerLocation: West LondonWorking days and hoursMonday to Sunday - shifts are 7 - 6 but are flexible within these timesMonday to Friday 6am to 8pm Rate: £12.50 paye inclusive of Holiday payMonday to Friday 8pm to 6am Rate and Saturday: £14.00 paye inclusive of Holiday paySunday Rate and Bank Holiday : £15.50 paye inclusive of Holiday payBand: 2Job Purpose As a front-of-house employee, a Barista represents the brand and the culture of an establishment and provides clients with professional and friendly service.Duties

  • Grinding and brewing coffee
  • Developing and maintaining expert knowledge of coffee and educating clients and colleagues about these coffees
  • Consistently providing well-crafted, beautifully presented and tasty beverages
  • Taking client orders and receiving payment
  • Speaking and interacting with both new and regular customers
  • Maintaining a clean and sanitised working environment
  • Following health and safety guidelines
  • Regularly performing stock checks in the coffee bar and placing new orders
  • Following recipes and presentations for food and beverage items, if needed
  • Being aware of and following operational policies and procedures
  • Being punctual and maintaining regular and consistent attendance
  • The ability to work flexible hours and shifts which may include early mornings, late nights, weekends and bank holidays
  • Contributing to a positive work environment
