Our client is a market leader in providing market intelligence to investment banks, corporate banks and wealth businesses. They have become the market leader for performance data, working with Heads of Sales, Trading, Research and Strategy at all the majorFS businesses both in quantitative and qualitative data sets. Revenue for the firm was £80m last year.My agency has spent the past 10 years introducing some of the brightest front office sales, traders, strategy consultants and banking graduates to this business. It is a fantastic team of very motivated people who also care about work-life balance. The company has started to build an ESG capability off the back of successful data campaigns. We are looking for somebody that is passionate about ESG and consulting into the highest levels of stakeholders in the FS sector. One thing that our past placements always talk about is the ability to work directly with MDs and Heads of division with thisfirm early in their career. In this role, we are looking for someone highly commercial who can build strategic analysis and insights, farming the data the firm has and finding creative angles in ways to use it in the ESG domain. We are looking for:1. Tier one strategy and/or consulting background or:2. Tier one FS background in a strategic role, working with data and creating presentations to senior audiences would be an advantage3. Ability to influence at MD level and above4. Strong Excel and data presentation skills (we are not looking for a data analyst or modeller, though a few technical skills will help)5. An ability to look at the bigger picture6. Strong written and communication skills; this person willwrite white papers and be visible across the industry7. Knowledge of corproate/ transactional banking products e.g. cash management and/or trade finance would be anadvantage8. A broader FS role, though crafting analytical insights to senior audiences, could work for this role if the person has not worked in ESG before9. Ideally on the job experience of ESG or ESG-related issues though a personal interest is enough with the relevant background in FS or consultingThe role is hybrid, with 2-3 days in the office and the rest working from home. The firm is known for offering a good work life balance vs. the strategy / banking world.
