Job Description

We have approx. 1300 employees across 8 sites, where we cover a broad range of specialisms, including complexmedical and surgical procedures and a comprehensive range of cancer and outpatient services.Job ProfileWe are looking for an enthusiastic Band 7 Physiotherapist with experience of working at Band 6 or Band 7 level. The successful candidate will have strong organisational skills, undertaking a significant clinical caseload, manage triage of patients and representtherapies in a link role in the wider hospital. You will complete advanced physiotherapeutic assessment of patients with diverse presentations and complex physical and psychological conditions demonstrating awareness of the biopsychosocial model. You willutilise clinical and organisational skills and demonstrate innovation to enhance patient experience and meet the Clinics strategical goals.

  • Job Type: This is a full-time, 12 month fixed term contract working 37.5 hours per week.
  • Shifts: 37.5 hours per week Monday - Sunday
  • Salary: £48,998- £58,790 inclusive per annum dependent on skills and experience.

Closing Date - 9am Wednesday 21st December.Key Duties
  • To operate with a busy caseload of outpatients alongside managing patient related and professional activities.
  • Plan the effective daily management of a caseload of patients including, triaging and responding to urgent referrals and responding to unpredictable work patterns.
  • To be professionally and legally accountable for all aspects of own work, including the management of patients in your care.
  • To use advanced clinical reasoning skills to screen referrals and provide autonomous specialist assessment, diagnosis, treatment and evaluation of patients presenting with diverse or complex presentations/multi-pathologies.
  • To demonstrate advanced theoretical knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology and awareness of the biopsychosocial model when determining clinical diagnosis and prognosis, resulting in patient centred goals and treatment plan in line with evidence-basedpractice.
Skills & Experience
  • BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy
  • HCPC registered
  • MCSP
  • Proven experience of working at senior level as a physiotherapist in musculoskeletal outpatients with experience in all core areas.
  • Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of various Musculo-skeletal and Orthopaedic conditions.
