An opportunity has arisen for a Patient Scheduler/ Receptionist within an Outpatient Vascular Diagnostic clinic. The main base will be on 4 North clinic at Charing Cross Hospital, but the post holder will sometimes be required to cover departments across the Trust sites.Reporting to the Vascular Data Coordinator, the post holder will be responsible for the devolved reception area. This includes being responsible for greeting patients, responding to emails and telephone requests, scheduling appointments, booking tests and prioritising, liaising with other departments, ensuring accurate data capture and entry, and any other duties as required. The post holder will need to adhere to Trust policies, the 18 week RTT pathway, and Standard Operating Procedures.The day to day working relationships will include the clinical staff based in the clinic, patients, carers, internal and external staff from a variety of departments and hospitals, and you will be part of the wider administrative team.The ideal candidate will be a quick learner with Cerner experience and able to work in a fast paced environment. Candidates must be able to multi task and be able to prioritise their workload, especially during busy periods, whilst ensuring that patients are responded to appropriately.
