Bakery Manager – RELOCATION NORTH WALES - Small to Mid-scale commercial production – Experience in artisanal bread bakery neededSalary: £28,000 – £30,000 DOEWe want to speak with experienced and skilled Bakers and bread makers who have a background baking high quality artisanal breads, including great sourdoughs!Your New EmployerThe employer is a fabulous local business that is renowned in the area by both customers and employers. Located in a beautiful part of North wales, the business is independently operated by passionate, professional, and knowledgeable owners.Your New Job As Head Baker you will lead the bakery operation, the bakeries sole focus is the production of exceptional artisanal breads which supply local shops and restaurants. Your technical expertise will be key to produce a fantastic product. The product will be of a standard to be enjoyed in quality restaurants as well as produced on such a scale as to meet retail demands. Sourdough production will form an important part of the role therefore an understanding of all stages of sourdough production process is key. As is an exceptional knowledge of traditional baking techniques, of dough and of proofing. Elements of kitchen management will also be part of the role. With responsibility to ensure stocks are managed efficiently and all food hygiene and health and safety procedures are correctly followed. You will lead a team of 3, with a view to growing the team as the business itself grows. Typical bakery working schedules apply.Your Experience and Our requirements

  • You will have experience baking artisanal breads preferentially within a production environment
  • You will be familiar with traditional baking techniques with an excellent knowledge of dough and proofing
  • Your experience will include producing sourdoughs, baguettes and a range of loaf types
  • A passion for the product is key
  • You will possess a growth mindset in order to enable the business to improve and expand
  • Ability to display full understanding of all Food Safety and Hygiene / Health and Safety best practices is crucial
  • You will hold a full UK driving licence
  • Your Future as the Successful Candidate As Head Baker you will receive £28,000 to £30,000 DOE. The ownership is passionate about people development whilst delivering great all-round employee experience.
