Located in a beautiful part of North wales, the business is independently operated by passionate, professional, and knowledgeable owners.Your New Job As Head Baker you will lead the bakery operation, the bakeries sole focus is the production of exceptional artisanal breads which supply local shops and restaurants. Your technical expertise will be key to produce a fantastic product. The product will be of a standard to be enjoyed in quality restaurants as well as produced on such a scale as to meet retail demands. Sourdough production will form an important part of the role therefore an understanding of all stages of sourdough production process is key. As is an exceptional knowledge of traditional baking techniques, of dough and of proofing. Elements of kitchen management will also be part of the role. With responsibility to ensure stocks are managed efficiently and all food hygiene and health and safety procedures are correctly followed. You will lead a team of 3, with a view to growing the team as the business itself grows. Typical bakery working schedules apply.Your Experience and Our requirements
