Backend Developers (Ruby on Rails) - Fully Remote - Up to £80kAvanti Recruitment are working with an established and growing SaaS provider to recruit for 2 Backend Developers with strong experience in Ruby on Rails.This is an exciting time for the business as they have recently launched a number of really successful products and subsequently grown their client base, so it is a great time to be joining as you’ll have loads of autonomy working across various interesting projects.The company offer 100% remote working to all of their developers (yes, even after the pandemic) and give their team all the flexibility to work the hours that suit them best. The CTO is really friendly and relaxed and provides his team with the platform to produce their best work.As part of the role you will be developing new features for their platforms as well as maintaining and enhancing existing features. You’ll also be designing and developing new architecture and reviewing their existing architecture, ensuring all code is written to a high quality, secure and well tested.They are looking for people at a senior level that are able to make suggestions and improvements to enhance the way things are done. The company are well set up, but know they need to make progressive improvements so this is a fantastic opportunity to really make your mark and show your worth.Expert knowledge of Ruby and Rails used in a commercial environment for a minimum of two years is essential to be considered for this role. Other technologies/methodologies they use and would be nice to have include Kubernetes, Docker, AWS, HTML, CSS, Redis, Solr, MySQL, Haskell (for some internal tools), SQL, Git, Javascript, Typescript, OOP.Training will be provided on their product and in any areas needed.
