Job Description

This role is for someone with 12 months experience or more who enjoys B2B PR!About the Company:We consider ourselves to be a progressive B2B Tech PR agency. This means that as well as media-focused PR, we work with our clients across their marketing strategy, helping with digital marketing, content creation, events and design. It’s an approach that is being called inbound PR’What’s the opportunityThanks to some recent client wins, we are looking for a competent individual to fill the role of Account Executive or Senior Account Executive, dependent upon experience.The candidate needs to be a real self-starter, (due to us being a virtual agency- see later!), have good communication skills, be self-confident and above all, be interested in learning how to come up with creative story ideas and develop PR pitches. You will work across several B2B clients spanning streaming game services, ad tech, crypto and blockchain, game development, end-user research and insight tools and more. You will work directly with the Account Director as well as agency directors on the day to day account work, as well as help across the agency team. We see this AE role as helping with client research, creating media lists, competitor monitoring, producing monthly reports, and other account management aspects. We would also expect an AE to get involved in pitching journalists and dealing with clients once they are up to speed. Role Summary: We are looking for a dynamic, passionate individual who wants to develop a PR career working with technology businesses. B2B PR can be nuanced and challenging and is not for everyone. Still, it can also be gratifying and requires a level of intellectual rigour that’s often lacking in consumer PR. It also rewards candidates with an enquiring mind and strong analytical abilities - both to understand our clients’ businesses and continuously create innovative solutions and deal with data and insight that a lot of our PR will be based on. This all has to be underpinned by a genuine interest in B2B tech, especially in the games industry, where the vast majority of our clients are looking to create an impact with their solutions. We have a very flat structure here. You’ll report directly into our Account Director and agency Director’s and founders of the Company.You’ll be given autonomy and responsibility from day one. You will need to be a strategic thinker, confident writer, be brimming with ideas, demonstrate an ability to manage numerous tasks concurrently and have an attention to detail. You will be responsible for key aspects of the daily work we do with clients and the media. In 2020 we decided to become a 100% virtual agency. This offers a fantastic work/life balance and the opportunity for candidates to avoid having the expense of being in or around London. Still, we appreciate it also can be a challenge for junior members of staff. Moving forward, we envisage having monthly meetings in a London location. We also make sure that there is a constant communication flow between team members via Slack and voice and video calls.Our ideal candidate will have:
