The Azure Infrastructure Engineer will be responsible for the support, change/enhancement, maintenance of IT Services that enable the organisations IT to deliver strategic IT services. Whilst ensuring these IT Services are aligned UK best practices and standardswhilst delivering value to the business.Revised Key responsibilities and accountabilities:

• Providing 3rd line operational support for IT services, including collaboration with third-party providers.
• Assisting IT Application, Change, and Delivery Teams with a portfolio of IT Operations maintenance and enhancement tasks.
• Backing IT Infrastructure Changes by offering technical expertise during CAB Meetings and, if necessary, supplying technical resources for implementation.
• Strategizing and executing changes in compliance with established policies and processes.
• Collaborating with the IT Operations Manager, Chief Technology Officer, and third-party experts to shape new IT platforms.
• Documenting procedures, processes, and both high- and low-level designs.
• Conducting research on current and emerging technologies.
• Advocating and harnessing Technology platforms to enhance Technology services provided to users and customers.
• Collaborating on projects and changes to leverage existing platforms for delivering improvements and new services aligned with the strategy.
• Supporting, developing, and enhancing cloud services (IAAS, PAAS, and SAAS).
• Undertaking any additional tasks at the discretion of the IT Operations Manager.
• Support the IT Architecture, through design, implemenationn and more.

ProfileQualification & Experience:

• Possession of a degree in Computer Science or a relevant field (Preferred)
• ITIL V4 foundation certification (minimum requirement)
• Proficiency in managing Microsoft Azure service models (IAAS, PAAS, and SAAS)
• Azure Administrator Associate Certification, specifically AZ-104

Essential Competencies / Skills:

• Proficiency in collaborative work within small teams with specialized roles
• Strong analytical thinking, exceptional planning, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Effective communication abilities
• Demonstrated experience in the management and delivery of IT platforms
• Proactive "can-do" attitude and lateral thinking skills
• Familiarity with Office 365 administration, including Microsoft Teams
• Competency in SQL Server management
• Familiarity with ITSM systems (Experience with Sunrise would be advantageous)
• Expertise in technical aspects of server management, VMWare, and SAN
• General network administration and troubleshooting skills (firewalls, VLANs, subnetting, VPNs, DNS, DHCP, Wi-Fi, etc.)
• Over 3 years of specialized experience in supporting and administering Microsoft Servers (2012 - 2019), Active Directory, Group Policy, Desktops (Windows 10), and Applications (M365). Proficiency in Office 365 administration, including Microsoft Teams.
• Familiarity with PAAS IT Monitoring Tools (such as AppDynamics, Dynatrace, Datadog)
• Experience in supporting and utilizing Microsoft System Center (SCCM)
• Proficiency in creating and maintaining technical documentation

Job OfferThis role is offering a salary of up to £65,000 per annum.Please enquire within the find out more about the added benefits, including pension and discretionary bonus.This is a hybrid role - 3 days on site is mandatory.Please be aware that this is a hybrid role and those based outside of the UK will be rejected.
