Job Description

Azure DevOps Engineer - InsuranceWe are currently recruiting for a DevOps Engineer with experience of managing Cloud resources and monitoring Azure applications to join one of our Insurance Clients on a 6 month contract, remote working.Please note this position is Inside IR35.Experience / Skills required:

  • Build DevOps technology blueprints for applications built on multiple technologies like .NET, Python, SQL Server, No SQL DBs etc. for cloud offerings.
  • Familiarity with Azure CLI, Azure REST APIs, Azure Resource Manager template, Azure billing/cost management and the Azure Management Console
  • Experience with Cloud Native applications (Kubernetes, Docker)
  • Experience using a scripting language such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
  • Proficiency with Windows, Linux operating systems.
  • Experience with Azure supporting IaaS and PaaS software implementations.
  • Build of continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines.
  • Install, configure and maintain development, staging and production environments while working with the development team.
  • Work with service quality on Azure for monitoring, alerting, incident & change management.
  • Software and Database Development background with development experience in Azure SQL/Azure Synapse and PowerShell
  • Working with cloud infrastructure; in particular Azure.
  • Building and managing continuous integration & deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
  • Expertise in using Azure Portal, Application Insights and Azure DevOps to manage and monitor cloud based solutions
