Job Description

Job Role: Azure Data EngineerLocation: Central London - Hybrid / 3 Days in OfficeSalary: £60,000 - £70,000 + 12.5% BonusKey areas: SQL Data Engineer, Azure Data Engineer, Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure Data Services, Snowflake, SQL Server, Data, BI, BI Development, MS BIChapman Tate is collaborating with a leading Housing Association that is revolutionizing the industry through innovative data-driven solutions. As they continue to expand their operations, they are seeking a talented Azure Data Engineer with strong SQL expertiseto join their dynamic team.Are you passionate about leveraging data to drive business insights and enhance operational efficiency Do you have experience working with Azure data technologies and a knack for SQL development If so, this is an exciting opportunity to contribute to thesuccess of a forward-thinking property management company.Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes using Azure Data Factory.
  • Optimize data storage and retrieval processes to ensure scalability, reliability, and performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and implement solutions that meet business needs.
  • Develop and maintain SQL scripts, queries, and stored procedures for data manipulation and analysis.
  • Perform data cleansing, transformation, and validation to ensure data quality and integrity.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines to identify and resolve issues in a timely manner.
  • Stay updated on the latest trends and advancements in Azure data technologies and recommend improvements to existing systems.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Data Engineer or similar role, with a focus on Azure data technologies.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL programming and database management.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL Database, and other Azure data services.
  • Familiarity with data modelling concepts and best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work well in a team environment.
