Cloud Infrastructure Engineer - Contract (Azure)A prestigious client I am working with are beginning their cloud adoption journey with Microsoft Azure and seek an experienced hands-on Cloud Engineer to work with the Infrastructure and Network teams as they build their skills and confidence in the platform.The ideal candidate will be someone who can demonstrate deep practical experience as a Cloud Engineer, which includes, but is not limited to the following essential skills:* Effective knowledge transfer to and upskilling of Network and Infrastructure teams on hybrid Azure and on-premises capability* Hands-on expertise of Azure Networking technologies (e.g. VNET, Virtual WAN, etc.) with experience of configuring and maintaining these in a hybrid WAN with on-premise networks* Hands-on expertise of building and configuring IaaS resources, both Linux and Windows, to provide common infrastructure resources in the cloud, such as servers and workstations. This will include the creation and configuration of VM images as well as subsequent Virtual Machine deployment* Experience of automating infrastructure deployment in Azure, especially for IaaS resources, using build and release pipelines* Experience of resource monitoring and alerting in Azure and the creation of appropriate monitoring dashboards* Knowledge of Azure Active Directory and its use in authentication and authorisation for Azure resources* Knowledge of Azure PaaS resource types and their configurationPlease send a cv if you wish to applyPlease click here to find out more about our Key Information Documents.
