AZURE EngineerOutside IR35 ContractFULLY REMOTEInitially 6 Months£400-475 per dayUnify are super proud to be exclusively representing a rapidly expanding Microsoft business who are currently undertaking significant programmes of work and are looking for experienced Microsoft Azure Cloud Engineers to help plan, design, configure/build,and document Azure cloud hosting services.The successful applicant will have solid hands-on experience of project design and implementation, defining solutions based on best practice and driving service adoption cross multi and hybrid-cloud environments. Skills and qualifications

• Advance Azure Knowledge and experience working and migrating workloads from on-prem to Azure, including the use of Azure Migrate tool.
• Infrastructure as Code deployments using Azure DevOps and ARM templates
• Azure Active Directory experience
• PowerShell scripting
• Microsoft Windows Server 2012 R2 and later
• Virtualisation - Hyper-V/VMWare and Azure VMWare Service, and migration of hosts from on-premise VMWare to AVS.
• Knowledge of network principles and understanding of networking including VPNs, load balancers, firewalls and VNets
• Understanding of Information Security principles including GDPR
• Experience of implementing solutions using Azure App Services, Azure Function Apps and Azure Logic Apps.
• Practical experience of implementing technical solutions to ensure data security
• Experience of remediating risks identified in Microsoft Secure Score
• Previous experience in support and management role
• Experience with designing and configuring/building cloud hosting infrastructure as a service using Microsoft Azure
• Team player with excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent problem-solving ability
• Can do attitude to find innovative solutions to challenging problems

Desirable skills and experience

• Experience of implementing and supporting container services and Azure Kubernetes Service
• Working knowledge of Microsoft stack hub and Microsoft stack HCI
• Strong data engineering experience using core Microsoft Azure data technologies: Data Factory, Databricks, Data Lake, Azure SQL, Synapse, Analysis Services
• Azure database experience (Synapse EDW, SQL Managed Instance, Azure SQL)
• Experience of using Azure ARC and management of multi-cloud solutions
• Experience of Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud, and Oracle Cloud.

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate (AZ-500)
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Fundamentals (DP-900)
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Virtual Desktop Specialty (AZ-140)
• Microsoft Certified: Security Operations Analyst Associate (SC-200)
• Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate (SC-300)
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate (DP-300)
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate
• Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals (SC-900)
