Job Description

AWS Solutions Director Tasks

  • In this exciting role as AWS Solutions Director, you will be responsible for the technology strategy, development and quality of AWS solutions designed and built by the team at Storm Reply
  • Leading and coaching architects and engineers within both Storm Reply and client teams
  • You will build and maintain relationships with key technical client stakeholders and be pivotal in shaping Storm Reply offerings across IoT and application modernisation
  • This role offers the opportunity to combine building and shaping teams alongside offering development, pre-sales and project delivery

Qualifications
  • Extensive experience architecting and delivering AWS solutions paired with the following AWS Certifications: Solutions Architect / DevOps Pro / Advanced Networking
  • Proven experience of leading teams in the migration and / or modernising of solutions to AWS and p roven experience of gaining trust of client stakeholders and sponsors
  • Extensive Cloud, DevOps and Security knowledge paired with e xperience of leading teams to design and build fully automated AWS deployments
  • Hands on ability to develop in at least one programming language (Python, Go, C, C++, Java etc.) as well as e xperience with IoT solutions and implementing them using AWS would be considered an advantage
  • AWS Security Speciality, Database Speciality, Machine Learning Speciality would be desirable, ideally with Certified Information Security Professional (CISP) credentials
