Job Description

They create bespoke solutions utilising cutting edge event technology for broadcasting to audiences across the globe! With a young and ambitious team, this business offers unique and dynamic solutions to theirclients with an all-in-one solution of end-to-end planning.Due to continued success and growth, they are now looking for an AV Technician to join their exciting team!The Role The role will entail working with an internal team of event producers, project managers, designers and video producers as well as freelance production crew in the UK, US & Europe to deliver live streaming, AV & video solutions for their clients.Duties will include:

  • Operating and maintaining professional video, lighting and audio equipment
  • Managing physical inventory
  • Transporting and setting up of video, lighting, and audio equipment as required
  • Ability to build and produce vMix projects across live streaming & AV productions
  • Providing solutions for any complex technical or personnel challenges on events
  • Working with internal teams
  • Coordinating crew and equipment as needed
  • Monitoring assigned video conferencing calls on end users event sites
  • Ability to spot points of failure and have suitable contingencies in place
  • Assisting staff with pulling, staging and striking audio/visual equipment for events
  • Resolving and/or escalating issues in a timely fashion
  • Ability to communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully
  • Location and on-site management
  • Assessing technical and on-site health and safety risks
The Candidate The ideal candidate will have ample experience of AV Production or Broadcast industry experience and proficient use of AV equipment. Exposure or an interest in live event broadcasting is essential. This role will suit someone who is able to work in high-pressuresituations with a cool head as well as build very strong relationships with internal team and clients.Live specialises in all disciplines (and at all levels) across events, experiential and exhibitions.
