Job Description

Job Title: AV Support & Installation EngineerSalary: up to £40,000 + BenefitsLocation: LondonWorking hours: 8am - 5pm or 9am - 6pm or 10am - 7pm. There will be the chance to work overtime which you will be compensated for either financially or by time in lieu.A very exciting Client who is currently going through large grwoth off the back of winning a number of new clients is looking to hire an AV Support & Installation Engineer. The AV Support & Installation Engineer will take lead on supporting, installing,implementing and configuring simple and complex AV technologies to meet the needs of the clients. In addition to this, the AV Support & Installation Engineer will get the opportunity to have relevant certifications and training courses funded by the organisation.Responsibilities for the AV Support & Installation Engineer:

  • Support, maintain and troubleshoot AV issues
  • Support, maintain and troubleshoot hardware issues
  • Plan and install AV solutions
  • Provide plans and advise for projects, services and sales
  • Create documentation around all tickets completed and create user guides
  • Store, transport, assemble and disassemble AV equipment
  • Use a company provided van to travel to client sites in Manchester
Essential Skills for the AV Support & Installation Engineer:The successful AV Support & Installation Engineer will have experience with the following:Audio Visual support experience
  • Able to assist with physical installations
  • Troubleshooting mindset
  • Detailed orientated
  • Time management
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
Desirable Skills for the AV Support & Installation Engineer:It will be beneficial if the AV Support & Installation Engineer has experience or knowledge of any of the below:Completed AV installations
  • LED, NovaStar, CAD
  • Microsoft Windows
  • Sound Engineering
  • Any relevant certifications
