Automation Tester - Developer in Test - UI/UX - Agile, TDD, ExtremeContract: Until December 2021Rate: £450 to £485 per Day - INSIDE IR35London, East LondonOne of the world’s leading manufacturing and engineering organisations and a house-hold name is seeking a Quality assurance, QA, Automation Tester, Developer in Test with responsibility for developing and maintaining automation code along with developers.Main Tasks & ResponsibilitiesAutomation Tester - Developer in Test - UI/UX - Agile, TDD, Extreme> Develop automation UI/UX code, integrating into the local/global test and development teams, actively sharing knowledge amongst the teams to reduce the risk and lower the cost of application development> Build up internal capability, knowledge and depth of experience around automation testing techniques for iOS, web and backend services> Grow EU technical competency by working closely with testers, apprentices, and developers, sharing knowledge/lessons learned> Collaborate with other technical experts (Architect, DA, DBA, SHC, Security, and Networking) to resolve critical problems that often occur during application development> Research new technologies, standardise technologies, performance guidance, developing testing frameworks etc.> Exploratory, Regression and Adhoc manual testingEssential Skills & ExperienceAutomation Tester - Developer in Test - UI/UX - Agile, TDD, Extreme~ Familiarity and experience in working in agile/balanced teams Experience/ability in working with global teams Ability to work closely with paired programmers Experience with troubleshooting/performance management~ Experience in Agile testing techniques~ Thought leadership on driving quality within a team~ Advanced scripting/programming with mobile automation tools - Espresso, XCUI~ Advanced experience of debugging using web proxy (e.g. Charles)~ Strong communication skills and ability to lead a team to quality outcomes~ Knowledge and familiarity with Software Craftsmanship techniques (e.g. TDD; Continuous Improvement; Extreme programming)~ Knowledge on data mocking frameworks such as Mockito~ Knowledge on API testing tools like Postman or SOAP UIDesirable (not essential) Skills:Automation Tester - Developer in Test - UI/UX - Agile, TDD, Extreme# Knowledge and familiarity with Agile Central/Rally# Experience with Software Development tools, Backlog Management (CA Agile Central aka Rally), Source Code Management (GIT) Required skills
