Job Description

As the Automation Tester, youll be joining an in house testing team, for an international enterprise. Youll be joining a team that an integral part of the Technology department and the wider Business Services function based at the firms head office inLondon. Youll need to be creative and proactive, to work positively in a change environment, which includes multiple platforms and architectures and diverse technologies.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • The focus of the role is to ensure the delivery of quality software to the business.
  • Youll review the business requirements, identifies tests that will drive feature development, and where appropriate writes and executes the relevant automated acceptance and regression tests.
  • Test script creation - delivering a re-usable set of automation scripts for future release
  • Test estimation, test planning and test progress reporting
  • Test execution - automation testing split across project team and BAU (Business As Usual) delivery
  • Providing objective feedback to software development project team or business support teams
  • Coaching and mentoring junior team members in test automation
  • Responsible for maintaining and operating a Ranorex test automation framework
CANDIDATE PROFILEYoull need to have;
  • Experience setting automation frameworks from scratch, in a .net language
  • Experience in professional environment (Big 4, legal, insurance, financial services, pharma or similar environment)
