Job Description

This position requires a strong self-starter with string analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to adopt a logical approach to solving problems..

  • Design, develop, and support automation frameworks for testing and provide automation expertise to the development teams
  • Prepare, review, evaluate and maintain test cases, performing automated and manual tests where necessary
  • Contribute to design, planning and estimation for the deliverables
  • Help train and grow the full development teams knowledge and ability in testing techniques and quality, to support the continuous growth of our modern teams of software professionals with T-Shaped skillsets.
  • Review and promote processes for continuous improvement and maintenance of quality standards
  • Take responsibility for the identification and escalation of risks
  • Proficient with bug tracking providing clear root cause analysis
  • Ensure that all tests are executed, documenting and maintaining a log of all test cases and test results
The ideal candidate will have 5+ years experience working as a Test Automation Engineer with:
  • Strong Javascript skills
  • Experience testing Rest apis using RestAssured, JsonPath, Jackson
  • Experience in UI testing using a variety of technologies including Selenium, Cucumber, WebdriverIO
  • CI experience - CodePipeline, Git or similar
  • Sql queires and scripting
  • Experience testing in a microservices environment and using mocking libraries such as WireMock
  • Excellent communication skills and able to demonstrate examples of key stakeholder management
  • Ability to travel when required.
  • Strong desire to learn.
  • ISTQB Foundation Certificate in Software Testing - desirable
  • Experience in Test Architecture
