Job Description

Automation QA EngineerAre you an Automation QA Engineer who is keen on setting up a framework from scratch Want to own testing Have architectural and technological influence Whilst moving into a Lead role Then read on.A scaling E-commerce firm who have a complex web application is looking to drive automation through the business and are looking for a Senior Automation QA Engineer. The Senior Automation QA Engineer will come in to set up the automation test framework, expand test coverage and drive efficiency in the QA team via automation.There is a framework in place but it is not fit for purpose and much of the testing currently is manual. This is currently being managed by the Junior Automation QAs in the team allowing the Senior Automation QA Engineer to focus on working with the developers to drive automation.The tech stack is C#, Selenium, Specflow, and Azure.The Successful Senior Automation QA Engineer will:

  • Have experience testing web applications
  • Experience improving or setting up an automation framework in C# OR Java.
  • Knowledge of test organisation: page object model
  • Keen to own testing in a scaling organisation.
    • This is a great role for any Senior Automation QA Engineer who wants to expand their knowledge around testing and get involved in non-functional testing such as API testing, performance testing and load testing - working with tools such as Postman and RESTAssured.Not only will you get to advance your career technically you will have a chance to move into a Lead role as you mentor and train the Manual QAs in automation.Talent Point is a Hiring Communications business, working as sole hiring partners with our customer.
