Taylor Hawkes are seeking an Audit Manager, with an interest in Corporate Finance, for one of the Citys leading auditors outside of the Big Four for Listed and AIM listed Companies.The firm are an award-winning Top 50 firm who work with an impressive client base of listed companies, hedge funds and leading technology firms going through the listing process. Based in the heart of East Londons Tech City, the firm pride themselves ontheir Corporate Finance Advisory specialism which includes; Buy & Sell financial due diligence, Mergers & Acquisitions, MBOs, share valuations, company disposals and fundraising.They are seeking an Audit Manager who is keen on gaining wider exposure to a range of Corporate Finance duties. With a dedicated CF department, they rely heavily on their Audit department to provide ongoing support on a range of CF jobs. You will be workingon audits for companies about to make their first public listing and require extensive reports for a range of stakeholders. You will be required to prepare and collate investor reports for shareholders, brokers, traders and various stakeholders. In additionto this, Seniors are often required to produce due diligence reports on M&A transactions as well as assisting on a range of further CF duties.With an audit client base consisting of over 50 listed and AIM listed company, you will also gain exposure to Corporate Tax advisory including; company restructuring, transactional tax, tax planning for mergers, acquisitions and overseas expansion. The firmalso regularly act as Reporting Accountants for reverse takeovers and IPOs with Seniors assisting on projects.Progression is widely encouraged. You will gain opportunities to undertake projects that may not be widely available in a traditional audit & accounts position. The firm pride themselves on promotional opportunities and strongly recognise success.The role will undertake the following duties: Provide management over a portfolio of clients and deliver high quality audit and assurance service, including preparing and reviewing audit plans and work. Achieve team and individual budgets and business plan/ performance objectives. Manages project financials, including budgets, WIPS, timely billing and collection and variance recognition. Think strategically about client needs by understanding their business and key risks. Providing additional help and guidance to clients on a consultancy basis. Identifying ways to maximize the relationship with clients and deliver added value. Monitor and control auditing staff. Takes a leadership role in professional, business or community organizations.
