Job Description

Having recently met with the Audit Partners of this impressive Central London based Top 40 accountancy practice, I am keen to speak with Audit Managers who are looking to join an ambitious and friendly firm who offer a realistic work life balance.The London office is home to around 60 staff members across all service lines. A number of Partners have recently joined from the big 4, and this role would suit someone from a Big 4, Top 10 or Mid-Tier firm with the capacity for the role to be 100% auditor split between audit and accounts, depending on the candidates preference.What is great about this Audit Manager role

What will this Audit Manager role entail
  • Reporting directly to Audit Partners and liaising with other managers as required
  • Being the main point of contact and management of a portfolio of audit and non-audit clients (fee income £500k - £750k)
  • Clients are OMBs, SMEs, LLPs, FCA and Charities across sectors including technology, retail, hospitality, with turnovers up to £50m, and a handful of IFRS clients
  • Planning, supervision and review of audit and accounts clients
  • Assisting the Audit Team with technical accounting and auditing issues
  • Day to day supervision, and training and development of staff
  • Billing and monitoring actual costs against budgets and reporting to partners on variances, and drafting monthly bills on
  • Assisting in the generation of new business
  • Software includes CCH, Alphatax, Sage 50, Quickbooks, Xero
