Are you a small or medium firm ACCA / ACA Audit & Accounts Supervisor or an experienced Audit & Accounts Senior, looking to join a very good quality, medium sized accountancy firm based in a prime location in Central London Are you looking to join a firm in a newly created role due to growth and start 2021 in an exciting new position Are you looking to carry out a varied general practice role, mixed 50% audit, 30% statutory accounts, 10% management accounts and 10% corporation tax Are you looking for a role which will also give you exposure to special projects and advisory assignments such as cash flows, business plans, fraud investigations, general performance analysis, budgets, forecasts and competition analysis Based in a busy and growing firm of 50 staff, you will be responsible for managing your own portfolio of clients, managing workflow, delegating work to juniors and reviewing their work, and reporting to partner. You will be responsible for delegating lower level work to junior staff and carrying out more complex and higher level assignments yourself in a hands on capacity. Your role will be varied, challenging and hugely enjoyable with great progression prospects to manager grade on offer. Many of the partners in this firm started as trainees and the firm always promotes from within, meaning you will be provided with every opportunity to progress to manager then partner grade. You will gain exposure to a wide range of UK clients from sectors including media and entertainment, property, legal, technology and retail. You will also get to advice a number of exciting rapidly growing entrepreneurial start ups including interesting tech start ups. This firm has had great success with people who have trained around the UK and want to relocate to London. The firm will also allow flexible / home working 1 - 2 days a week for the foreseeable future.To be considered for this new role you must be a fully qualified ACA / ACCA, ideally with some post qualification experience but recently qualified candidates will still be considered. It is likely you will be working in a small or medium size accountancy firm and looking to upgrade to an entrepreneurial and modern medium sized London based practice which offers all its staff varied roles and great progression. You will either be a supervisor looking for a role with better progression to manager grade or a senior looking to step up to manage grade. You must have experience of leading audit assignments from planning to completion, preparing statutory accounts, corporation tax returns, supervising juniors and managing clients. Your current role must be at least 20% audit based. Experience of a wide range of software packages would also be an advantage. A strong interest in a mixed general practice role is essential. You must be well presented, be a team player, and be looking to progress at a rapid pace.
