Are you a fully ACA qualified Audit Manager or Audit & Accounts Manager, looking to join a very good quality, growing, medium sized firm with around 50 staff in a prime location in Central London Are you currently working for a large firm and looking to join a smaller firm for better progression and also a better work life balance Or are you working in a medium sized firm outside of London and looking to join a very good quality London based firm, in a mixed role split between audit and accounts Are you looking for a role with an early 2021 start date Based in a general practice role, your position will include managing your own portfolio of clients, managing workflow, budgets, billing and building client relationships. Your role will be split roughly 50% audit assignments and 50% accounts, tax and general advisory work. The exact split can vary depending on your areas of expertise. You will be responsible for ensuring all assignments are completed to a high standard, delegate work to more junior staff members and reviewing their work. You will also be responsible for ad hoc assignments and projects (including business valuations, cashflows, budgets, forecasts, due diligence etc), as well as business development and building your portfolio of clients. Your role will be varied, challenging and hugely enjoyable with great progression prospects to a higher level on offer. In this new role, you will gain exposure to a wide range of UK and international clients, including groups, from sectors including media and entertainment, property, legal, technology, retail and other interesting sectors. This firm has had great success with people who have trained around the UK and want to relocate to London. Experience of Caseware would be an advantage but training will be provided if necessary.To be considered for this newly created role due to growth, you must be a qualified ACA and currently operating at Audit Manager or Audit & Accounts level. You must have at least three years PQE experience, either in a large firm or a small / medium sized firm. You must have audit experience, ideally around 50% but you must also have experience of accounts preparation assignments and ideally some tax. You must have experience leading audits, managing a portfolio and reporting to partner level. First time passes in your ACA are highly desirable. Experience of a wide range of software packages, including Caseware would be an advantage. A strong interest in a role mixed between audit, accounts preparations and tax returns is essential. You must be well presented, be a team player, and be looking to progress at a rapid pace.
