Job Description

Associate Sustainability Consultant LondonStarting Salary up to £42,000 per annum + benefitsRef: TJ1001Penguin Recruitment are excited to announce the opportunity for an eager Sustainability Consultant to gain employment within a global real estate service provider.The employer has an international network of more than 600 offices and their reach stretches globally, with offices across Europe, the Middle East, Asia, and the Americas.The consultancy manage all types of properties including large-scale retail, residential, commercial and leisure assets and are looking for an Associate Sustainability Consultant to take on Energy Audits, net zero strategy, ISO50001 and building optimisation alongside supporting the team on a consultancy basis.Primary job purpose:

  • Internal lead Energy Auditor - ensuring Energy Audit delivery, business development, growth of the service line, and financial management
  • Supporting the Sustainability Team on a retained basis for existing and potential new clients/client base
  • Delivering additional business support requirements in regards to fee earning clients/business that has been generated by the Sustainability Team
    • To be considered for this role, you should:
  • Be completely IT literate
  • Have experience with complex utility data analytics
  • Be highly motivated
  • Have the ability to provide ESOS services
  • Be proficient with data reporting
  • Have an in-depth knowledge of ISO 50001, ISO 14001 and other disciplines related to the built environment
    • Required:
  • BSc Degree in Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Energy Management, Sustainability or the equivalent
  • Previous demonstrable experience within the Energy, Utility Management and Sustainability Services
    • Desired:
  • ESOS Lead Assessor
  • Qualified Energy Assessor
  • Experience working on GHG Reporting
  • Experience working on Company CRC reporting
  • MSc or MEng in Engineering, Energy Management, Sustainability, Environmental Sciences
  • Experience in GRESB, CDP, BBP, UNPRI, EPRA, Green-print
