Job Description

The Company:An investment company focused on UK and European logistics is seeking a senior level analytical candidate to join their growing team in a newly created position. With an active pipeline of acquisitions and asset management initiatives, this individual willwork across the full life cycle, working on both the investment and asset management activities.The Role:Sitting at a senior analytical level in the business, key role responsibilities will include:

  • Underwriting and analysis of potential acquisitions.
  • Asset management analysis informing decisions on hold/ sell, regears and developments.
  • Writing and presenting recommendations and IC papers.
  • Assisting with wider investment and asset management outside of analytical tasks when there is capacity in workload.
The person:
  • A minimum of 3, but ideally closer to 5, years of real estate analysis experience. This could be from a client side investor, an accounting real estate corporate finance team, or a real estate consultancy environment, as long as the experience has beenfocused on analysis.
  • Strong academics in a finance or real estate related degree
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with the ability to model complex cashflows from scratch.
  • An independent thinker who can sense check their work and work autonomously.
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Able to present findings and engage in discussions on them.
Remuneration:The salary level for this role will depend on the previous experience of the successful candidate. It is anticipated that it will be c. £60,000 - £70,000 for the junior – mid level range of this role, though there is potential for a salary up to c. £80,000for a more experienced individual. The client is more interested in the experience and skills that this person brings to the team to compliment their acquisitions and asset management drive.
