Associate/Manager, Data Product Team, Enterprise Macquarie Asset Management

Job Description

Join our Macquarie Asset Management business during a period of exciting change. You will work in a cross-functional Product Team to support MAMs key business initiatives. You will lead on all aspects of data management within the team to help the ProductOwner drive digitalization through well-managed, automated, and governed data. In the first 12 months, you will work alongside our Strategic Solutions businesses, where you will play a significant role in designing and executing the future through strategically-focused digital solutions. You will collaborate with business leaders, subjectmatter experts, Technology, Operations, and Support functions to drive alignment to our data principles and make it easier to deliver reporting and other data-driven solutions. You will define, locate, trace and model data processes, including data ownership,classification, Data Element to Business Element relationships, and data flows recorded in the data catalogue You will have 3-6 years experience on a Data Product team. Your daily tasks will include running workshops, analyzing existing and future business process, developing conceptual data models, managing data quality, documenting user journeys, Agile story writing,and coordinating business testing. You will have existing knowledge of financial markets or asset management and deep experience in data management or business analysis, with a focus on data. You will have a background in data cataloguing, data profiling,and data quality measurement. You will understand data control processes, data operation processes, and data remediation processes. You will have some exposure to Agile methodology and knowledge of asset management data flows and associated data domains (e.g.portfolios, funds, trades, securities, performance).
