The RoleAn opportunity has arisen for a Junior Associate to join our Financial Services team in London. You will be working for part of the non-contentious financial services group which covers a broad range of financial services regulatory issues.Ideally the candidate would have some experience of markets regulatory issues. The role requires a combination of ability to handle complex transactions, to conduct detailed analysis and to give written and oral advice.The TeamThe team helps clients to structure their business in the most efficient way, minimising regulatory burdensand complying with relevant regulations.They can assist in setting up new businesses and product lines and draft and negotiate client, brokerage, investment management and custody agreements as well as compliance documentation. We also advise on perimeter issues, the rules governing the promotion and sale of financial products, and negotiate and document the regulatory aspects of corporate transactions.Skills and Experience RequiredThe candidate is required to have a good knowledge of the Financial Services and Markets Act regime,European financial services law and current developments, documentation in the market, including customer terms of business and senior managers regime. Knowledge of MiFID2, EMIR, PRIIPS, benchmark negotiation would be an advantage.Candidates should also:
