Job Description

In Deals we solve the important problems that stand in the way of value being created, sustained, realised or protected for our clients - working together to aid responsible recovery and growth. Working on iconic deals with national and global clients,we put together major mergers and acquisitions and resolve business crises - from international take-over bids to financial crime investigations and cases of insolvency. We draw upon our deals experience across many industries to support and partner with ourclients, to positively impact society and the communities in which we operate. About the roleThe Strategy& Deals team works with leading businesses, private equity and venture capital investors, supporting them across the Deal cycle, from pre-deal to post-deal value creation As an Associate, your work will be varied and fast paced - no engagement is the same, providing the opportunity to gain experience across sectors and engagement types. Responsibilities

  • Working on key work streams for projects and driving delivery
  • Completing desktop market research and data analysis
  • Contributing to conclusions and the reporting of analysis
Your background
  • Delivering strategy and commercial due diligence assignments for private equity or corporate clients, with the ability to act independently
  • Technical skills in market and competitor analysis (market sizing, drivers and dynamics, competitive intensity, etc.), customer analysis (survey analysis), and internal analysis (capabilities, financial assessment)
  • Detailed understanding of and experience with Strategy&s approach to commercial due diligence and strategy projects, as well as an understanding of the team structure and working styles
  • Ability to work effectively whilst collaborating internationally and whilst utilising our alternative delivery models
Skills and Experience
  • Youll have a very structured approach to problem solving and exceptional analytical skills
  • Experience of coaching junior team members
  • An ability to multitask effectively and balance time between project delivery and business development support
  • Evidence of contributing to the wider team, whether that be leading on business development opportunities or in learning and development
