CHARTERED BUILDING SURVEYOR, LONDON (SW3)SALARY UP TO £90,000 + BENEFITSAbout the Cadogan Estate:The Estate consists of more than 3,000 flats and houses, 9 hotels, 300 shops, 500,000ft2 of office space, 5 embassies, 30 restaurants, cafes and bars, 5 churches, 7 schools, a concert hall, and acres of parks and green open space spanning c93 acres, from Sloane Street to Kings Road. Current AUM of approximately £7bn.Recent notable projects have included the recently developed Cadogan Hotel, the Duke of York Restaurant, Pavilion Road project, 196-222 Kings Road site, Sloane Gardens development, and the George House mixed use development.RESPONSIBILITIESTo provide project management and building surveying services to the Estate working with the Building Surveying team on projects between £500,000 and £5m. To assist with the professional work associated with Licenses for Alterations, Deeds of Consent, Schedules of Dilapidations and neighbourly matters. To apply sound technical knowledge to related activities, including but not exclusively, landlord and tenant legislation, statutory legislation, including Planning Laws, Building Regulations and Health and Safety as well as industry best practice guidelines.CANDIDATE PROFILEThe successful candidate is likely to be a member of RICS with circa 5 years practical experience, and a sound technical knowledge in terms of building surveying, project management and professional work. You will ideally have experience of working on projects up to £5m in value and be able to confidently provide general building surveying services to the business, such as supporting Property Managers on external repairs and redecorations, Licences to Alter where needed, and Asset Managers in respect of lease events.Please apply within your current CV or call on for an initial confidential conversation.
