ASSISTANT VICE PRESIDENT MODELLING ANALYSTLondon, United KingdomFull-Time, PermanentUp to £80,000 + competitive bonusA very exciting opportunity to join one of the UKs leading banks as an Assitant Vice President Modelling Analyst, working on developing the banks first-generation model development initiative, presenting a unique blank canvas from a technology perspective.The companyOne of the UKs leading Banks is seeking a talented candidate to join their new team and contribute to the development of capital models for the private bank portfolio. This role offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a high-profile and significantdeliverable for the organisation. The roles responsibility lies in shaping the price of bank modelling within the private bank portfolio.Key ResponsibilitiesThe roles focus will be developing the banks first-generation model development initiative, presenting a unique blank canvas from a technology perspective. Other responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define and shape capital model development strategies for the private bank portfolio.
  • Lead the design and implementation of innovative capital modelling solutions, leveraging your expertise and experience in the field.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration and adoption of capital models within the organization
  • Act as a subject matter expert and provide guidance to junior team members.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Proven experience in capital model development within the banking industry.
  • Strong knowledge of financial risk management principles and practices.
  • Extensive IRB modelling expereince
  • Ability to bring innovation, creativity, and a deep understanding of capital model development to help design optimal solutions.
  • Expertise in pricing of bank modelling and relevant methodologies.
  • Previous experience in leading and managing teams is desirable.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • A degree in a relevant field (e.g., Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or Computer Science) is preferred.
