About the role We’re looking to hire an Assistant Treasurer into our Group Treasury team at DS Smith, based on Euston Road. As an Assistant Treasurer, you will support the Head of Treasury in delivering our Treasury objectives, which will in turn provide opportunities to lead specific projects, typically involving external debt, foreign exchange and cash management.You will work closely with banks and senior management across the business to deliver improvements to treasury operations. On occasion, you will stand in for our Head of Treasury in respect of dealings with banks and internal committees, as well as providing specialist advice to the business on a range of issues, including leasing, management of working capital programmes and risk management activities. The team also oversees accounting operations managed from our Shared Service Centre in Wales and works closely with the tax, financial reporting and FP&A functions.It’s an exciting time to join the team, with recent Treasury projects including:
