Our people live and breathe our SPIRIT values; we are the place for spirited people.More about yourroleAsaTechnical Manageryouwill work as part of a regional Technical Teamas part of our Placemaking business, focussing on large scale and complex development projects across the UK you will beresponsible for providing design specifications forthesedevelopments.Youwill manage various aspects of design,specificationand implementation of specific developments. Working ona numbersites or project phases concurrently,this role will have full involvement fromfeasibilitytoonsite construction.Youwillcoordinate and manage the production of the working drawings,detailsand specifications from external consultants for onward distribution and discussion with internal departments. You will be responsible for ensuringclashesondrawings and layoutsare highlighted, specifications are adhered to and build type and design arescrutinised.For moreinformationplease download our job profile available on our website.More about youTo apply for thisrole,you musthaveextensive experience as a Design Manageror aTechnical Manageror as aDesign and Build Manager. Experience working on designs for multi-tenure (affordable rent, PRS, market sale)large-scaleconstruction projectswouldbe advantageous.You will also require knowledgeof various construction methods, an expert knowledge of building regulations and standards and CDM regulations. It would also be advantageous if you have experience and knowledge of the planning process and procedures.This role is basefrom our office inLondon, near Kings Crossallowing you to collaborate with thedevelopment colleagues.
