Assistant Software Support Manager - Exciting SportsTech Company - London / Hybrid Working - up to £46k + great benefits

Were on the hunt for an experienced Software Support Analyst / Service Desk Support to join a truly exciting sports tech company as the Assistant Software Support Manager. Were looking for someone with a good understanding of networking principles and Microsoft server and desktop environments; someone with proven experience providing application or service desk support, the ability to document critical and routine proceduresand end user literature, and excellent communication, diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.Our client partners many international elite sports teams and premiership football clubs with out of hours support provided to the events both remotely and on-site - so this role would definitely be suited to someone with a passion for techand sports!Key responsibilities as the Assistant Software Support Manager will include:
  • Technical incident management (call logging, troubleshooting and escalation)
  • Product support and maintenance (software and hardware), primarily through remote access
  • PC and server software installations, configuration and testing of bespoke software
  • End user training
  • Documenting critical and routine procedures and end user literature
  • Out of hours event support - both remotely and on site
  • Troubleshooting various problems and resolving issues
  • Providing support for the Development team
  • Assisting in managing the Support team
  • And more
What were looking for:
  • Previous demonstrable experience providing application or service desk support
  • Good understanding of networking principles and Microsoft server and desktop environments
  • Comfortable using T-SQL
  • Excellent communication, diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to produce documentation for critical and routine procedures and end-user literature
  • Ability to establish good working relationships with clients and colleagues
  • Relevant MCP, MCSA or MCSE qualifications are advantageous
  • Ability to help lead and manage a team
  • Passion for sports and tech
