Job Description

LONDON - HYBRIDASSISTANT SALES MANAGER UP TO £45,000 + BONUS + BENEFITSMy client is an International company who provide products to the Oil and Gas Industry.The Assistant Manager for Sales will be responsible for sales, marketing and business development of Line Pipe products in European and African Markets.

  • Meeting customers to promote Line Pipe products and collect market information
  • Reviewing inquiries and tender documentations and defining supply strategy
  • Co-ordinating receipt of offers from suppliers
  • Negotiations with suppliers and customers
  • Preparing and submitting offers, bid and contract documentation to customers with consultations/approvals by supervisors, including documents prepared for project execution process, such as Data Book
  • Acting as a general point of contact for customer queries
  • The role will require you to travel to meet with customers and suppliers in your region of responsibility plus meeting with suppliers in other regions and may include long-haul travel.
  • Any other tasks as may be required from time to time.
QualificationsEssential
  • Experience in B2B sales/marketing.
  • Understanding of Incoterms
  • Familiarity with Microsoft office programs, in particular Excel
  • Knowledge of shipping documentation, such as Bills of Lading
Desirable
  • Experience in the international steel trade industries, in particular Line Pipe
  • Experience in the Oil & Gas industries
