Assistant Product Developer

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

Assisting in initial stage pricing packs setting up and organise pricing enquiries and information with new and existing factories.
Supporting in launching initial trials and protos with factories. Creating explanation and comment packs when necessary
Assisting in proto comment packs setting up and launching SMS with factories.
Following the delivery and keeping track on approval process of strike-offs, knit-downs and lab-dips
Conducting sample component checks against BOM upon receipt of proto and SMS.
Responsible for accurately measuring garments ahead of fittings and providing fitting notes to PD team
Attending fittings to take fit notes and comments photos for protos and SMS.
Regularly updating product information throughout the season. Ensuring all documentation is kept updated across formats (including range boards, product files and sample trackers)
Tracking of all garments throughout the design and development process, ensuring all information is kept up-to-date and correct in trackers
Supporting the Design & Development team in the everyday running of the department
Demonstrating initiative in all situations, anticipating where and how help is needed during every step of the development process and working pro-actively to help the team complete its workload
