Job Description

Job Title: Assistant ProducerSalary: £35K-37K + Benefits Dept: Media & MarketingLocation: London / Hybrid 1 day at homeRoleMy client is on a critical mission to digitise, democratise and scale the energy derivative space. They are looking for a highly motivated and creative mind to join their Media Team as an Assistant Producer. The ideal candidate has a strong interest in financialmarkets & economics, along with experience within content creation. This role involves developing compelling content that engages their audience, enhances brand image & drives lead generation.Responsibilities

  • Oversee running of weekly podcast & other studio recordings(podcast, social media explainers & weekly market wraps
  • Edit & publish podcast & social media / website content
  • Organise occasional offsite location filming
  • Develop & manage content for social media platforms, website, email marketing & other promotional channels
  • Collaborate with marketing & sales teams to create material that supports business objectives & new releases
  • Help monitor & report on content performance metrics to identify areas for improvement
  • Stay ahead of market trends, regulations & industry news to ensure content relevance
  • Update the weekly video noticeboard on office TVs with updates from various departments
Requirements:
  • Bachelors degree in finance, journalism, marketing or related field
  • Demonstrated interest or understanding of financial markets & economics
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment & meet tight deadlines
  • Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
  • Strong writing, editing & proofreading skills with a keen attention to detail
Preferable:
  • Content creation experience, preferably in the financial industry / similar
  • Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite & Social Media Platforms
  • Knowledge of oil swaps market dynamics
  • Market research & analysis
  • Video production & editing / willingness to learn quickly
