Job Description

Assistant Private SecretaryLondon, Bristol OR Manchester (currently remote) Day rates: £180-220 3 months Inside IR35Concept Resourcing are looking for a Assistant Private Secretary to join a Central Government client based in London/Bristol OR Manchester. This is an initial 3 month contract with a possible extension. The role is INSIDE IR35. Day rates between £180-220 per day, depending on experience.Please beware the successful candidate ideally will have a CTC clearance. If you do not have a CTC clearance, you MUST have a BPSS check (within the last 3 months) or will be happy to undergo a BPSS check with the view of obtaining a CTC clearance duringthe role.The ideal candidate must have the following experience;

  • Previous UK government or public sector experience (desirable).
  • Have demonstrable experience of working with senior leaders such as Director, the Deputy Directors and Chief of Staff in a high profile working environment
  • Can effectively analyse the information and data available to you to recommend strategic decisions to senior leaders within your team
  • Excellent verbal and written communicators, preferably with experience of handling briefings and submissions
  • Must be very organised and able to prioritise the workload effectively to make sure tasks are completed on time and to a high standard.
  • Extensive stakeholder management skills.
  • Know how to build and maintain great relationships with colleagues
  • Know how large scale government programmes work.
  • Have excellent digital skills
