Here at Cancer Research UK, our passionate Trading department contribute millions per year through our retail stores towards funding ground-breaking research. The teams long-term goals are to maximise sales and contribution of (new and donated) stock through right selection, pricing and presentation, as well as effectively managing the distribution of stock.Your role will be to assist and plan the stock requirements for all New Goods into our CRUK shops. Working closely with the Senior Merchandiser and the Senior Buying and Merchandising Manager, we are looking for someone with experience of working to KPIs, who understands budgets and has strong skills in Excel. You will also manage the allocation and replenishment of stock to all our shops and superstores, so we need someone with great stakeholder management and the ability to work alongside different teams across our wider Trading depart and retail teams.Some of your responsibilities will include... Producing and interpreting stock and daily/weekly sales reports, and communicate these commercially back to the team Allocation of product from warehouses to shops using in the house system Updating and maintaining the new goods delivery schedule to enable accurate stock management and distribution Providing analysis for stock replenishment for the shops Assisting with planning of sales, promotions and markdowns in line with budgets Producing product merchandising layout guides for shops to implement on new product launches Building relationships with shop managers, to identify and drive commercial opportunities, to support their performance Reforecasting of WSSI, sales intake and marginsWe are looking for someone with... Head-office Merchandising experience at an Assistant Merchandiser level Strong numerical and analytical skills Experience of using Excel functions, including VLookups, Sumifs, Pivot Tables Strong time management and ability to manage and prioritise work-load Strong problem-solving skills - can spot issues and propose solutions A high level of attention to detail and accuracy Flexible attitude and prepared to adapt to business changes and focus Excellent MS Office skills: especially Excel, Word and PowerPoint The ability to interpret and present complex data and form action plans as appropriate An approachable and friendly manner with a can do attitude Experience in managing multiple stakeholders Highly motivated and the ability to meet challenging deadlinesIf the above sounds like you, then we want to hear from you.
