Job Description

Our Demand planning and merchandising team work closely with our commercial teams and the buying teams of our key accounts. Youll have a strong analytical ability, recognising patterns in large data set and youll work closely with our Product Merchandisersto map new season product to current sales and feedback the sell-out results highlighting the seasonal best and worst sellers, giving detailed reasons why anything has fallen into either sector.Client DetailsA London based footwear brand that was launched in 2007 by a successful entrepreneur. The footwear range includes anything from sneakers to sandals with a focus on comfort. They also use bio-mechanics to support their design in being not only fashion forwardand on trend but also comfortable and well fitting for the feet.Description

  • Generate timely and accurate demand plans for all product classification on a seasonal/weekly/monthly basis.
  • Support Planning manager decision making with consideration and scenarios.
  • Execute product demand plans/VLPs for Wholesale and Consignment channels to meet the sales targets.
  • Plan new product launches with demand forecasts and detailed analysis to anticipate customers promotions, market trends and discounting.
  • Work with the Wholesale sales teams, Finance and Planning manager to track and support improvements in forecast accuracy on a monthly/seasonal basis.
  • Analyse and provide allocation plans for Consignment Accounts on a Weekly Basis.
  • Work with the Sales team to ensure Consignment Accounts are fully supported with optimal stock levels.
  • Assist in risk assessment & mitigation activities.
  • Successfully run planning tools with sales, stock and intake information, and ability to identify errors and anomalies.
  • Ensuring product availability and dates are maximised for business needs.
Profile
  • Experience of buying or forecasting within fashion or the footwear industry
  • Wholesale channel experience is preferable
  • Strong merchandising background
  • Advanced user of Microsoft Excel
  • Knowledge of Tableau would be advantageous
  • Youve got the hunger for hitting the numbers and happy to talk to about them
  • Happy to Geek Out and obsess KPIs,
  • Experienced working with ERP Planning tools and data analytics
  • Youll be a proactive person enthused by the results of your team and your division
  • Excellent multi-tasker who isnt afraid of a challenge
  • Commercially savvy
  • Youll be on the pulse with all channels of activity
  • Positive attitude and of course, a great sense of humour
  • Youll be creative but also have an analytical mindset. Industry recognised achievements preferred but not essential
  • Strong judgement, drive and influence
  • Hard working, self-motivated and great communicator
  • Calm temperament under pressure
