Job PurposeAs an IT Assurance AssistantManager within the national Technology Consulting & Assurance team,reporting to and working with the Technology Consulting & Assurance Mangers,Directors or Partner, you will be responsible for delivering IT Assurance(external audit) to a range of sectors, most notably in Financial Services and Corporates. Client satisfaction is of paramountimportance to us and you will need excellent communication and written skills,and an ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines. Your Role &Responsibilities• Responsibilityfor delivering IT audit work while building a portfolio of external IT auditengagements including Insurance, Banking, other Financial Services andCorporates sectors for the London office and other South based offices with theopportunity to work on other IT assurance engagements;• Engagementscope & planning, budgeting, supporting oversight in the engagementprogress, reviewing deliverables for quality and leading closing meetings withclient management assisting seniormanagers, directors & partner;• Supportingsenior managers, directors & partner as a point of contact for both the auditteam & client. Keeping stakeholders informedof any issues arising and the progress of the work;• Experiencein delivering IT General Controls, application controls and IPE testing;• Experienceof ERP applications such as SAP or Oracle, and standard packages such asAgresso, Microsoft Dynamics, Sage; • Knowledgeof operating systems such as Unix, windows server, and Linux and databases suchas SQL, Oracle, DB2;• Experiencein delivering audit analytics within projects using tools such as ACL, andusing SQL will be an advantage;• Deliveringwork to the highest technical standards including ensuring the work (includingthat of team you are supervising) is conducted in line with Mazars Qualitystandards;• Managea team of Seniors and Juniors on projects you are responsible;• Buildand develop strong working relationships with clients, ensuring any problems orrequests are dealt with promptly;• Buildand develop relationships with senior stakeholders within Mazars;• Ensuringwork is undertaken to budget and meets client KPIs;• Actas a role model helping to develop junior members of the Technology Consulting& Assurance team;•Understandthe wider service line capabilities of Technology Services and the wider firmand how these may benefit clients;• SupportTechnology Consulting & Assurance senior management in the development ofthe practice, by leveraging the skills and experience gained previously tosupport the implementation of new initiatives, ideas and processes;• Contributeto the management and training of a team based in London office;• Identifyopportunities for new work. Your Skills, Experience andKnowledge• Experienceof delivering IT assurance to clients across sectors relevant to the Londonoffice;• Relevantprofessional qualification such as CISA / QiCA / ACCA / MIIA / CIPFA ;• Soundtechnical understanding of IT risks and hot topics;• Experienceof managing assurance engagements and teams;• Experienceof mentoring and developing junior staff members;• Experienceof building and managing relationships with stakeholders;• Abilityto think creatively, generate innovative ideas, challenge the status quo anddeliver work effectively;• Strongtechnical abilities in audit methodologies, combined with business acumen;• Excellentoral and written communication skills;• Desireto help grow and develop the department;• Abilityto develop new initiatives and methodologies;• Experienceof identifying issues through sound technical analysis while applyingcommercial acumen;• Abilityto express ideas with authority and conviction throughout verbal and writtencommunication.• The TechnologyConsulting & Assurance Team also delivers services such as Cyber, DataPrivacy, Forensics, Data Analytics and IT Outsourcing.
