Job Description

Harmonic are delighted to be working with a world-renowned luxury fashion scale-up in their search for an Assistant Management Accountant. The business has a fantastic loyal customer base but continues to grow their presence in the luxury market with anincreasing reach across Europe and America.Growing 30% year on year and now at circa £45m revenue, it is an incredibly exciting time to join the business, with further growth projected in 2024. This role offers flexibility to work hybrid, with 3 days a week in the new bespoke office, while careerprogression is highly prioritised, with three members of the finance team being promoted in 2024 alone. The team regularly plan socials, fashion-related events and opportunities to access discounted products.Reporting to the Finance Manager in a wider finance team of 12, you will be responsible for assisting in varying tasks across management account reports and balance sheets.Responsibilities:

  • Supporting on the production of management accounts and supporting month end.
  • Assisting in year-end and preparing for audit.
  • Supporting, and eventually managing, VAT returns.
  • Dealing with balance sheet accounts, intercompany reconciliations, and other tasks such as payroll, accruals and journal adjustments.
  • Developing new systems and processes to support efficiencies across various tasks.
  • Occasionally undertaking AP duties.
  • Ad-hoc finance duties when required.
What we need to see (essential):
  • Good excel skills
  • Desire to undertake an accounting qualification (such as ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
  • Organised, diligent and eager to learn
  • 12 - 18 months experience in a similar role

  • Background in luxury retail (fashion, cosmetics, etc)
