Job Description

CompanyThis is a globally recognised film and media business based in central London. They host one of the largest film catalogues with thousands of popular titles across several countries, and have won numerous film awards over the years.They are looking to expand their Finance team by recruiting a talented Assistant Management Accountant to join the business.RoleThe Assistant Management Accountant for this exciting film & media business based in central London, will be responsible for various key duties including:

  • Ownership of third party and intercompany royalty reporting
  • Independently produce all third-party and intercompany royalty statements and accompanying invoices
  • Calculate and post month end adjustments with P&L and cash flow variance analysis
  • Regular forecasting of royalties, both P&L and cash
  • Key liaison and business partner for all stakeholders both internal/external
  • Perform month end balance sheet reconciliations
  • Assist with the statutory and royalty audit process
  • Assisting with ad hoc projects and reporting
ProfileThe ideal profile for this dynamic Assistant Management Accountant position should have the following skill sets & attributes:
  • 2/3+ years of experience in a similar capacity with strong emphasis on assisting with management accounts production
  • Experience with accruals & prepayment / balance sheet reconciliations
  • Excellent Excel skills (Pivot tables / VLOOKUPs etc.)
  • Understanding of licensing/contracts would be desirable
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • A background & interest in media/film would be highly beneficial
