This position is the equivalent to a UK Deputy Head of Secondary and reports directly to the Head ofSecondary. This specific role is Assistant Head of Secondary - Teaching and Learning.Dukhan English School is the true definition of a community school, where all are welcome. Ensure that teacher subject knowledge is secure and is updated in line with newcurriculum requirements Have experience using data to leverage learning and development Ensure the active involvement of pupils and staff in their own learning Be an excellent role model, exemplifying a high standard of teaching and promoting high expectationsfor all members of the school community Support the development of collaborative approaches to learning within the school and beyond Play a leading role in the school improvement and school self-evaluation planning process Line manage Key Stage 4 phase leader,some Subject Leaders and quality assure action planning to secure continual improvements to provision Oversee academic and pastoral care for Key Stage 4 Lead staff Performance Management Meetings and when required devise personal improvement plansIn returnfor your passion, successful candidates will enjoy the full benefits of working for thecorporation, which include generous tax-free salaries, an interest free car loan, schooling for up to four children, medical cover and airfares for the entire family.
