Job Description

Assistant Front of House Manager up to 39K Canary WharfI am recruiting for an assistant front of house manager to work for a market leading leisure operator who are about to open a premium competitive socialising and entertainment attraction in Canary Wharf. As the assistant front of house manager you will haveresponsibility and accountability for leading the front of house team and ensuing a seamless guest experience across the venue which can cater for up to 500 people at any one time across both the experience and the hospitality operation which includes 6 premiumcocktail led bars and a comprehensive street food offer.We are keen to hear from candidates who have at least 3 years experience working in a senior front of house role management role working within a high footfall premium hospitality or leisure business including visitor attractions, hotels, restaurants andflagship health and fitness clubs. Key responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring high performing operational management and financial efficiency of the front of house team, maximising revenue generation opportunities.
  • Achieving efficient customer throughput, maintenance of customer service, experiential and front of house quality standards.
  • Work with the wider team to provide effective support to deliver of a world class front of house operation.
  • Working with the FOH Manager, recruiting, inducting, coaching and managing the performance of 20 colleagues.
  • Work closely with other departments to ensure the F&B service is closely coordinated and cohesive.
  • Deliver an exceptional group bookings experience from first to last contact within the venue.
  • Liaise closely with the cleaning teams to deliver operational excellence and exceptional cleanliness.
  • Implement the findings of mystery shopper visits, spot checks, surveys, and other feedback, including reviews.
  • Proactively minimise costs and expenses, including the effective use of operational procurement systems and stock management.
  • Support with setting rotas, overseeing labour budgets and optimise efficiencies in the front of house team.
  • To assist with the implementation of marketing activities in front of house and wider venue.
You will be expected to lead your teams from the front, you will be working a combination of shifts during the week and a minimum of 1 weekend in 2.In addition to a highly competitive basic salary of up to 39K, benefits include 32 days annual leave plus your birthday off, significant discounts off F and B and exceptional opportunities for career progression.Due to the anticipated high level of interest in this opportunity only those candidates meeting the above criteria will be considered.Interviews are immediately available.
