An ambitious, PE backed business based near Wimbledon, South West London are looking to recruit a driven, actively studying part qualified (ACCA/ACA) Assistant Financial Accountant.This profitable, SME business has impressive organic growth plans, and a clear succession plan for this opportunity to progress. The role will work closely with the Financial Controller and have responsibilities for the month end management accounts preparation as well as regular interaction with other departments in the business.Key responsibilities include balance sheet reconciliations, prepayments, accruals, journal preparation/posting, cost analysis and the fixed asset register as well as full ownership of full month end processes for some entities.Working closely with a dynamic Financial Controller you will have the opportunity to develop and take more work and responsibility over time, with a view of progressing to the FCs position.To be considered for this role you MUST be an active part qualified studier (ACCA/ACA) with a strong academic background in A levels or a finance graduate. You will need to have two years finance experience, including prior experience in month end processes including balance sheet reconciliations, prepayments, accruals and fixed asset register and have an ambitious, level headed personality with strong excel skills, and superb attention to detail. You will need to demonstrate a strong work ethic, determination and progression on your CV.This role will offer study support, bonus, pension, a clear plan of progression with a strong mentor, which in this climate is hard to find.
